 | Ordering is simple at Simply Gifts:
1. Select a category from the ‘Browse' menu on the left hand side of the homepage, or click on a category image on the right hand side of page.
2. The ‘Browse’ menu is a more specific category selector which allows you to view ‘rewards’ or ‘retirement’ gifts; as an example within the corporate category. Clicking on the ‘Corporate gifts’ link from the images on the right hand side of the page will show all of our gifts for the entire corporate range.

3. Once a category is chosen you can browse the Simply Gifts selection for your chosen category.
4. Often the category has multiple pages to view. You can see how many pages are in the category from the page numbers on display at the top and bottom of each page. You do not have to view these pages chronologically; you can click on whichever page number you wish to view.
5. If you wish to read more about a gift, click on the image for more information. This will take you to a content list and description of the gift.
6. By clicking on a gift image you enter the first stage of the order process. At this point you choose the quantity required (defaults to 1) and select any optional extras e.g. wine you may wish to add to your order. Proceed to the next step by selecting the button which allows you to: “Add this gift to order”.
7. You now advance to the shopping cart. This will show you a thumbnail image of the gift ordered and a description of any optional extras e.g. “Sir James 750ml”. A breakdown of the various costs will also be displayed for your approval. This summary will also confirm the order quantity, which you can amend at this point should you choose. Please click “update cart” if you do amend the order quantity. “Proceed to checkout” will advance your order to the next step.
8. Order form – step one: Complete your intended greeting card text, select packaging/wrapping colours and nominate a delivery date at this stage. Also all shipping details of where you would like the gift to be delivered. Remember, gifts are delivered during office hours, so the best address may not be where they live. Step one also requires you to select your preferred payment option: Credit card order by phone, or online. This will default to online, so please use the drop down box should you wish to call with your credit card details. All highlighted fields are mandatory. This means you can NOT advance without completing the information requested.
9. The next stage will be dependant on your choice of payment option. It will either require you to enter all credit card payment details, including the CCV code*, or your telephone number, should you have selected the phone option.
10. Confirmation page – all details of your order should be checked at this point. Please check that the delivery details, order quantity, contact details and total costs are correct before proceeding. The order is still NOT confirmed at this point. If there are no changes, enter your preferred email address and click the “confirm” button. It is mandatory to enter an email address at this point, as it allows Simply Gifts to send you your confirmation.
11. A confirmation email will be sent to your specified email address. Please keep this email as a record of your order. It will contain your order number and will serve as a tax invoice for corporate orders.

* CCV Code
CCV (Credit Card Verification) code is used to help prevent online credit card fraud. Sometimes it’s also known as the Credit Card Check Value (CCV) or Card Verification Value (CVV), or Card Verification Code (CVC). This fraud protection system has been created so that if someone does have possession of your credit card number they also need to have physical possession of your card in order to know what your CCV is.
Your CCV is found in different places depending on what type of credit card that you have. For most cards, for example, Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, Bankcard, and Discover card, the CCV is a three-digit or four-digit number on the back of your card. The full credit card number is reprinted in the signature box and at the end of the number is the CCV.
For some cards, like American Express, the CCV is a four-digit 'non-embossed' number on the front of the card above the credit card number on either the right or left side of your card. |
